Hello, my name is AdminProductions, the translator for Ao Oni 3.0.
I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the mediafire download link to Ao Oni 3.0 English from the wiki? That link is no longer being updated and should not be used anymore.
The "ohmygoditsme.webs.com" link is the one that should be currently in use.
If you can get back to me on that, that would be lovely. Thank you!
I haven't been able to find any reliable information regarding version 4.2. Let alone any download links.
To tell you the truth, I don't even know if version 4.2 was ever publicly available for download at all. The only gameplay video that supposedly shows version 4.2 seems identical to the most recent version of the game.
So I'm going to make pages for characters you can play as and I was going to start on the little girl that turns into the Guanyin Oni, but I'm wondering if they should have the same page since Guanyin Oni is a form of hers.
Well, considering the fact that the game hasn't been translated yet, I pretty much have no way of knowing what elements of the third game are important enough to warrant their own pages. The Guanyin Oni is the final boss of Ao Oni 3, meaning that it definitely deserves its own page like it has now.
As for the character that turns into the Guanyin Oni, it really depends on how pivotal her role is in the story of the third game.
Since she's playable, I'm going to assume that she plays a major role in the game's story. So yeah, if you want you can go ahead and start creating an article about that character.
Is it ok if I make pages for the manga, novel and junior novels series? So that there's a place where all the works in the same series is placed. I've already made a page for the novel series in my sandbox and i'd like your approval before i begin posting
I'm trying to work on pages for the novels and all that and I noticed the sections or appearances might get a bit crammed with all the material that exists, so I'm wondering if instead of being in the infobox it could be a section of the page. Perhaps a scroll box needs to be implemented. The Infobox could use a family section though.
It really depends on whether you're referring to characters or story elements.
Information about minor characters should always be limited to a sub-section within the main page of said novel. Under the header of Other Characters.
As for less important plot elements, I don't feel like those have to be described at all. The page has to sum up the story, not retell it.
Since the novels are probably non-canon in relation to the games, the characters would need to have seperate pages in order to avoid cramming non-canon and canon stuff together in one page. The same principle counts for the movies.
At the moment, appearances of Hiroshi for example, also contain novel and movie appearances on the same page. I personally feel like that should be seperated considering how it's most likely non-canon.
I wish I could speak Japanese proficiently, because then I'd gladly ask noprops some questions via e-mail.
One more thing, the "king oni" page might not have to get deleted just redone. The thing I'm uncertain how it should be done because that Oni is actually the "little girl" running around on the island. So i'm wondering if the page should be renamed "unnamed girl" or "Thousand Arms Guanyin Oni"(the Oni's actual name)

Someone appeared to mistakingly place a deletion tag on that page after I told them individual masks (skins) shouldn't have their own pages. But the King Oni seems to be quite a pivotal character of the third game of the series.
The way the page is written though, is beyond terrible. As if it's some sort of personal blog instead of an article describing information.
Hey there. I see you now have the wiki in your hands. I used to use this place a lot. but I stopped after braindead children came to this place and started to vandalize it. (I had no power to stop them cause I have discussions mod). I feel like coming back here tbh.
I had to counter their shitty edits for more than a week before the bureaucrats at the community central gave me all the needed privileges to stop them efficiently.
Even now, I'm considering to bar all unregistred users from making any edits at all. Rarely are their edits of any worth so therefore, it would seem like a logical solution.
On another note, I don't intend on being disrespectful. But I'm not entirely sure if you should remain a discussions moderator. The question that I'm about to ask you is; are you prepared to use this wiki on a regular basis? If the answer is no, then I'm afraid I will have to remove your status as discussions moderator.
However, if you are prepared to offer dedication to this wiki, I see no reason to abolish your privileges.
I'm not really sure anymore myself. I'd probably say no since im busy with high school and stuff. So no. I dont need discussions anymore. I only came back here cause I kept getting notifications on my email. Even though I cant help, I wish you good luck. (Also ban unregistered users to make edits. It will make your life easier I promise. Trust me on this one.)
